First Snow Date

It's only October and the first snow fall has arrived. Moses was curious but not overjoyed by the cold wet stuff. First thing yesterday I tried to take him out for his morning walk but to no avail Momo wouldn't move.




When I got home from work I tried yet again to bring Mosie out for a walk, the second time was much more successful.

Moses started to hop in the snow like a bunny rabbit!

Later that day we had plans to meet up with another bullie, her name is Rossi and she's a real sweetheart.

Today I received our photo that we had taken from a B.A.R.K fundraiser. The only thing missing in this picture is Fai's and My'lady, unfortunately they couldn't make it. The photographers name is Cedric von Machui. We would certainly pay for his services again.

Kira's Birthday

Who doesn't love a birthday party? Dogs are no acceptation. Our neighbor invited us over for her dog Kira's birthday party (she turned 3 but doesn't look a day over 2), where the dogs got some lovely cupcakes.

The peas have left the pod

Moses was neutered today...poor guy. The vet said he didn't feel a thing. I dropped him off at 7:30 this morning and picked him up at 4pm. He seemed to be in good spirits despite all the drugs they had given him. I'm happy we decided to neuter him early as I've read it's much more painful the old they get and seeing as how we had no intentions of breeding him...why not do it while he's still young. I was concerned about his development as I've read conflicting articles regarding castration stunting a dogs growth. However nothing scientific only speculation. I trust our vet and think it was the best decision for our Momo. We were told that the healing processes it as little as a week and we should try and keep him quite for 2-3 days. They also gave us a cone to put around his head in case of excessive licking. Let's hope it doesn't come to that!

Plush Duck

One of Mosies favorite toys is a plush duck. It originally belonged to our friends dog but was then stole by Eden, then was later stolen by Moses. Such is the circle of life. The poor duck has a broken neck but he still has a few chews left to him.

Nuff Said

Well, I can't really blame the guy...I totally forgot to close the cupboard door and I guess Moses did some detective work. Turns out, styrofoam cups are a big no-no in his books and he's a little jealous over my affection for Mr. Millan. I was hours too late to give him shit for the mess but I did learn my lesson...Always shut the cupboard doors!

Thxgiving

Happy Thxgiving tout mon!!!

What a weekend we've had, long walks,turkey,episodes of the dog whisperer,summer pudding,family visits, red wine and good times.

Yesterday afternoon we went over to my mum's place, where Moses is always more than welcome. As you can see in the photo mum has a pool, and if you remember a previous summer posting, Momo is not a fan of water. I'm not sure what he was thinking, maybe he thought the pool was a giant water bowl but he was trying to drink from it. We told him not to but Moses is a tenacious pup and kept going back for more until he fell in the pool head first. It freaked him out so much so he didn't try to get another drink for the rest of the afternoon!

After a long day of play Eden and Moses we're completely zonked out. E felt the need to cover him up with his blanket...what a sweetheart


The whole point of getting a bigger vehicle was so Moses could have a spot all his own and not having to set on anyone's lap, well he isn't fond of being "segregated" to the back of the car so he now jumps in the front to sit with her majesty Eden.
